Challenge

Promotional campaigns often focus on product features and prices. The challenge was to make household products feel more relatable and emotionally engaging.

Approach

Rather than describing the products themselves, each headline was built around a familiar everyday situation associated with their use.

The campaign shifted attention from what the product is to the small moments, habits and interactions it enables, turning functional items into recognizable life experiences.

Key Learning

People rarely connect with products in isolation. They connect with the situations, routines and relationships those products become part of.

"Le kilomètre de bonheur"

The headline plays on the exaggerated trail of toilet paper unrolled by a mischievous dog. "Kilometre" refers to the endless length of paper scattered across the room, while "happiness" introduces an ironic contrast: what should be a frustrating mess becomes an affectionate pet-owner moment. The line captures the tendency to forgive the chaos caused by those we love.

"Le pied-à-terre"

In French, pied-à-terre means a temporary second home. Literally translated, it also means "a foot on the ground". The expression is reinterpreted through a garden shovel physically planted in the soil.

"La dépanne de réveil"

A twist on panne de réveil, the French expression for oversleeping because your alarm didn't go off. By replacing panne(failure) with dépanne (solution), the blender becomes the remedy for rushed mornings.

"Le flagrant délice"

A play on the French expression flagrant délit ("caught in the act"). By replacing délit ("offense") with délice ("delight"), the headline turns a mischievous moment into a delicious one. The visual shows a dog caught eating a cookie, creating a direct connection between the expression, the product and the scene.

"L'aller-retour en famille"

Aller-retour normally refers to a round trip. Here it describes the back-and-forth movement of brushing teeth together, transforming a simple toothbrush into a symbol of everyday family routines.
